Description

Fun and festive Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops that look like mini cones but are made of moist cake and frosting dipped in chocolate! Perfect for parties.


Ingredients

Scale

1 box of cake mix (any flavor) + ingredients listed on the box

1 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)

24 mini ice cream cones

2 cups candy melts or white chocolate (melted)

Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or mini candies

Lollipop sticks or skewers (optional)


Instructions

1. Bake cake according to box directions and let cool completely.

2. Crumble the cake and mix with frosting until it forms a dough-like texture.

3. Roll into 1½-inch balls and chill for 1 hour (or freeze for 20 mins).

4. Place a dab of melted chocolate on the cone rim and press a cake ball onto each.

5. Dip each cake ball into melted chocolate and decorate immediately.

6. Let set upright in foam block or carton until chocolate is firm.

Notes

Store at room temperature for 3 days or refrigerated for 1 week.
