Description

A creamy, fruity treat made with real cherries and no ice cream maker required. Perfect for summer!

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups fresh or frozen cherries (pitted)

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp lemon juice

2 cups heavy whipping cream

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. In a saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for 10–12 minutes until softened. Let cool.

2. Mash or blend the cherry mixture for desired texture.

3. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

4. Fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.

5. Swirl or mix in the cherry mixture.

6. Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 6 hours.

7. Let soften slightly before scooping and serving.

Notes

For a more decadent version, add chocolate chips or swirl in cherry jam.

Use tart cherries for a better flavor balance.
