Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 small corn or flour tortillas
Fresh cilantro leaves
Thinly sliced red onion
Lime wedges
Optional: shredded cheese, sliced avocado, jalapeños, or sour cream
Instructions
1. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
3. Add chicken and cook 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
4. Lower heat and stir in honey and BBQ sauce; toss chicken to coat and cook 2-3 more minutes.
5. Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
6. Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces and assemble tacos with toppings.
7. Serve with lime wedges and enjoy.
