Creamy Pasta Caesar Salad that blends al dente pasta, crisp romaine, and zesty Caesar dressing for a refreshing, filling, and delicious twist on the classic.
Ingredients
8 oz penne or fusilli pasta
4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1/2 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Shaved Parmesan and croutons for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, then rinse with cold water and drain.
2. Whisk together mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Parmesan, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make the dressing.
3. In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta and chopped romaine.
4. Pour the Caesar dressing over the pasta and lettuce and toss gently to coat.
5. Top with shaved Parmesan, croutons, and extra black pepper.
6. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes for enhanced flavor.
Notes
Use rotini or bowtie pasta for better dressing absorption.
Substitute anchovy paste for extra umami if desired.
Add grilled chicken, shrimp, or bacon for more protein.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
