Description

Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu is a decadent twist on the classic Italian dessert featuring fresh cherries, amaretto liqueur, mascarpone cream, and espresso-soaked ladyfingers. Easy no-bake dessert perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup fresh or frozen cherries (pitted)

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur

1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled

24 ladyfingers

8 oz mascarpone cheese

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, and amaretto. Cook over medium heat until cherries soften and release juices, about 5 minutes. Remove and let cool.

2. In a large bowl, whisk mascarpone, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

3. Dip ladyfingers briefly into cooled espresso and layer at the bottom of your dish.

4. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over ladyfingers, then half of the cherry amaretto sauce. Repeat layers.

5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

Use fresh cherries when possible for best flavor.

Substitute almond extract for amaretto to make it alcohol-free.

Chill overnight for best results.
