Description
A creamy, sweet fruit salad with pineapple, mandarin oranges, strawberries, bananas, cream cheese, and whipped topping. Perfect for potlucks and family gatherings.
Ingredients
1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
2 ripe bananas, sliced
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut flakes
1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
2. Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully combined.
3. Add the drained pineapple, mandarin oranges, strawberries, and banana slices.
4. Stir in the coconut flakes, mini marshmallows, and nuts if using.
5. Mix everything together until the fruits are well coated with the creamy mixture.
6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Use ripe bananas but add fresh if serving later.
Optional: add crushed graham crackers on top for crunch.
Can substitute coconut flakes with toasted almonds.
